As you can see, the above sample resume is for someone applying for an Administrative Assistant position. What special considerations went into the design of this resume?
Firstly, the focus is very much on skill sets as opposed to accomplishments. The idea is to show that as an assistant, the applicate is versatile and well skilled in a number of different key duties.
A career summary section was used to summarize the core competencies this person could displace as an assistant, i.e. all the administrative expertise this person can execute on.
A summary paragraph was used to outline skill sets, though easily a skills section could have been employed to show the same thing.
In the career history section of the resume (in this case, the "Professional Experience" section) there is excellent use of bulleted lists to highlight specific, tangible achievements.
